Senior Vice President - Engineering Operations
Salim Kouidri is a Senior Vice President of Technology at T-Mobile, leading Field Engineering and Operations with end-to-end accountability for translating network strategy into execution at national scale. His organization spans network build and modernization, RF engineering and optimization, field operations and resiliency, emergency response readiness, stakeholder engagement, and insights enablement, ensuring disciplined capital deployment and a consistent customer experience.
Salim’s work sits at the intersection of network leadership and value creation. He is focused on expanding 5G Standalone and deploying programmable capabilities such as network slicing and private networks that enable differentiated, secure experiences and support network monetization. These capabilities power mission critical solutions such as T-Priority for first responders, business offerings such as SuperMobile, and high demand use cases including photojournalism and live video broadcasting. They also help deliver reliable experiences at hallmark events, including Formula 1, MLB, and PGA environments, where performance and operational integrity must hold under peak demand.
He partners closely with Consumer and T-Mobile for Business leadership and works with strategic partners including LA28 to deliver readiness, resiliency, and predictable execution for large scale moments. Known for building high performing leadership teams and operating through large organizations, Salim brings more than 25 years of telecommunications experience. He holds master’s degrees in Mathematics and Computer Engineering, and an Executive MBA from NYU Stern.
