Michael Webb is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer with a tenure since 1997 at the Jacksonville Jaguars. Holding an Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Florida, his career spans from a professional touring musician to spearheading technology initiatives for the Jaguars.
His expertise encompasses database and front-end systems development, network/systems administration, WiFi, security, and compliance. As the head of technology, his responsibilities have broadened to include management of the stadium’s video board and audio systems, IPTV, lighting, environmental controls, physical security, and point-of-sale systems for concessions and merchandise.
Mr. Webb’s notable achievements include serving as the primary network administrator for Super Bowl 39, providing on-site support for Jacksonville stadium football events over 26 years, and designing and implementing all technology systems in the Daily’s Place amphitheater, indoor practice facility, and Miller Electric Center training facility. His contributions extend to supporting NFL games in London, facilitating amphitheater and stadium concerts featuring renowned artists.
A son of a Navy Captain, Michael Webb has resided in various locations across the United States before settling in Jacksonville for over 25 years. He is a dedicated father to a son and daugheter that are attending the University of North Florida.
