The FCC has adopted rules to auction 160 megahertz of Upper C-band spectrum by July 2027, and federal law requires at least 800 megahertz of auctions by 2034. This session looks at what is moving through the pipeline: the Upper C-band transition and post-auction timelines, the mid-band and upper mid-band candidates under federal review, and the sharing models that could open federal bands. Panelists from government, industry and policy will discuss how interagency coordination affects timing, what the auction means for carrier deployment schedules, and how infrastructure owners, vendors and investors should prepare for the amendments, equipment cycles and site upgrades that follow.
