With every state and territory’s final proposal approved, BEAD has moved from planning to delivery. States now face a second funding round, after NTIA said roughly $21 billion in remaining funds can be used for additional deployments, and a technology mix that includes fiber, fixed wireless and low-Earth-orbit satellite. This session looks at how states are running the next round, how sub-grantee progress should be measured, the early warning signs of delivery risk such as labor shortages, supply chain delays and missed milestones, and what the funding means for towers, fiber builders and equipment providers. Attendees will leave with a clearer view of where the next BEAD opportunities will appear.
