AVP, Tower Strategy
Monty Murdock is an Assistant Vice President of Technology in AT&T’s Tower Strategy organization. He leads efforts to modernize AT&T Mobility’s strategic partnerships and master lease agreements for macro-tower and small-cell real estate, supporting more than 90,000 locations and approximately $4.5B in annual spend.
He began his career at a telecommunications consulting startup, designing and operating wireless networks for major U.S. operators, and later moved into senior leadership roles that helped grow the company to more than $40M in revenue. Since joining AT&T, he has led national and regional teams across network engineering, capital management, analytics, supply chain, and strategy. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Emory University. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
