
Executive Vice President, Wireless Engineering and Operations
Jeff McSchooler, Executive Vice President of Wireless Engineering and Operations for Boost Mobile, spearheads the integration, engineering, and operations of the world’s first 5G Open RAN network in a public cloud. Previously, Jeff led DISH Technologies, overseeing teams in Denver, India, and six national digital broadcast centers, responsible for all systems required to support DISH’s satellite TV service and elements of Fixed Satellite Services, IPTV, VOD, and Sling technology integration.
An industry veteran, Jeff has extensive experience in the architecture, design, integration, engineering and operations, holding over 25 technical patents. He and his team earned an Emmy Award in 2015 for their work on Closed-loop Statistical Multiplexing of Geographically Distributed Encoders, enabling HD delivery of local broadcast stations.
Jeff’s career began in U.S. Air Force communications, followed by roles at Contel/GTE in Government Systems and GTE SpaceNet. He contributed to the build, integration, engineering, and operation of ground station requirements for DISH’s satellite operations launch with the EchoStar I satellite in 1995 and the expansion of DISH’s satellite uplink centers.
Jeff has served on executive advisory boards and regional Governor’s committees, receiving numerous awards throughout his career.
