Director, Product Development, Power
William Miamo currently serves as Director of Product Development for Power with American Tower’s U.S. Division. In this role, he leads strategic initiatives aimed at developing and scaling innovative energy solutions to strengthen the reliability and resilience of critical communications networks nationwide. His work centers on advancing the company’s energy programs through operational efficiency, technological innovation, and sustainable practices.
Prior to relocating to the U.S., William was Head of Power for ATC Nigeria, where he oversaw major power investments, Profit and Loss (P&L) management, and the execution of large-scale energy and sustainability initiatives. His leadership was instrumental in expanding solar power deployments, driving operational excellence, and improving energy reliability across thousands of sites.
With deep expertise spanning multiple markets and energy models, William brings a global perspective to the challenge of powering modern communications infrastructure. He is passionate about building resilient, sustainable, and cost-efficient onsite energy solutions that ensure wireless communications networks remain robust and future ready.
