Mike is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of strategic and operational experience within professional and technical services firms. Mike brings over 25 years of executive leadership experience in Cybersecurity, Identity Management, and Telecommunications consulting.
Mike serves on the Board of Directors at QuantaWatt, a Quantum innovation company whose mission is to harness and focus quantum technologies potential through photonics. QuantaWatt is collaborating with renowned academic institutions, policymakers and enterprises to develop a Quantum Communications Center of Excellence in North Texas. As part of this ecosystem, Mike is focused on harnessing the potential that Quantum technologies bring to various industry verticals – security, communications, transportation, healthcare, and utilities.
He also serves as the Managing Partner and Founder of SME Cybersecurity, an advisory firm working with private equity, venture capital, investment banking firms, and emerging entities to acquire and establish new cybersecurity enterprises. As part of his continued focus on Cybersecurity evolution, Mike is a Board Member for EnterprizID.
Prior to his current roles, Mike was the Chief Growth Officer and Head of Global Mergers and Acquisitions at iC Consult Group, where he positioned the organization as a preeminent global consultancy specializing in Cybersecurity with a focus on Identity and Access Management.
As the Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of ICSynergy International, he established a world-class advisory firm focused on Cyberidentity solutions and led the company to a successful acquisition by a top-five global private equity firm.
Mike has also held senior leadership roles at prestigious technology companies, including Ericsson, Nortel Networks, and Bell Canada.
