Marissa Mitrovich is the Vice President of Public Policy for the Fiber Broadband Association (FBA), where she leads the association’s federal and state advocacy efforts, shaping policies that drive broadband expansion and digital opportunity. With a membership of over 600 organizations spanning the fiber broadband ecosystem—including network operators, equipment manufacturers, and service providers—she works to advance FBA’s mission of connecting all Americans with fiber broadband.
A recognized leader in tech and telecom policy, Ms. Mitrovich was named one of Washington’s most influential voices in the sector by Washingtonian consecutively in 2024 and 2025. She brings over two decades of experience in governmental affairs, strategic advocacy, and industry leadership, having held executive positions across major corporations, industry associations, and government affairs firms. Her career includes leadership roles at Frontier Communications and Verizon, where she navigated complex regulatory landscapes and worked to bridge the digital divide. She also served at the Wireless Infrastructure Association and the multiclient government relations firm The Washington Group, gaining deep expertise in broadband, wireless infrastructure, and public policy.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Mitrovich is a champion of women in technology and policy. She was a founding board member of the Global Women’s Innovation Network (GlobalWIN) and continues to serve on its Advisory Council, mentoring and supporting women leaders in STEM and policy fields.
Ms. Mitrovich holds a Master’s in Political Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from Agnes Scott College. She is a frequent speaker on broadband policy, digital infrastructure, and the evolving role of fiber in the future of connectivity.
