Director of Public Policy
Lukas Pietrzak serves as the Fiber Broadband Association’s Public Policy Director where he leads the association’s state policy portfolio and engagement with the US Department of Commerce and other federal agencies. His advocacy encompasses FBA’s work on last-mile connectivity, data centers and AI infrastructure, fiber-enabled emerging technologies, and more.
Prior to joining FBA, Lukas served as a Special Advisor to former NTIA Administrator Alan Davidson and as the Chief of Staff of the Office of Internet Connectivity and Growth, leading NTIA’s over $45 billion broadband grants portfolio. He also served with Next Century Cities and New America’s Open Technology Institute where his research supported local solutions to close the digital divide.
Lukas received a Bachelor of Arts in Media Policy and Ethics from the University of Virginia and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
