Keith started in 1980 with Motorola in Chicago working on public safety systems and the Bell System AMPS cellular trial. He was part of the team that launched the first system in America at Soldier Field October 13, 1983. From there he went on to Cellular One Chicago as Manager of RF Engineering.
Keith then served as Director of RF Engineering for LA Cellular (now AT&T) from 1988 to 1991 where his team grew the network from 37 to 300 cell sites increasing capacity and SoCal coverage from 7k to 25k square miles. He designed and deployed a record setting 90 mile desert microwave hop. His team also launched digital technology and pioneered multiple switch’s in one market.
From 1991 to 2002 Keith served multiple BellSouth/Cingular (executive level) HQ and market roles primarily focused on network engineering and operations. He was also in charge of technical M&A, media & investor relations, RF standards and national capital budgeting. His team supported the 1996 Atlantic Olympics.
For the last 23 years Keith has focused on helping innovative start-up, private and public companies with research, product management and business development.
Keith’s belief is that people are the most valuable resource in all companies and that spectrum is the second most valuable asset. He passionately leads spectrum liberation PIM programs across America. His second passion is leveraging DAS and Private Networks to help provide First Responders, government, schools, enterprises and the public with bullet proof coverage with ample capacity.
