DataXoom
As the founder and CEO of DataXoom Corp., Chris built DataXoom with a vision to create an API and Technology Enablement Platform that allows enterprise organizations to embed 5G/LTE directly into enterprise business critical solutions. And doing so without compromising visibility and security for their customers. The DataXoom platform includes and addresses all aspects of the mobility eco-system. All the way down to their proprietary Tier 1 MNO Network Profile eSIM Container that provides secure real-time connectivity to multiple tier 1 networks.
DataXoom is a member of GSMA and CTIA and has direct partnerships with all major U.S. MNO’s (AT&T, VZ, TMO), OEM’s (Samsung, Zebra, Apple), and CRM’s (SFDC, ServiceNow, Oracle, MSFT).
Prior to DataXoom, Chris was the COO of True Wireless. True Wireless became one of the largest enterprise resale agents for large MNOs like Sprint and T-Mobile. True Wireless’ primary focus was wireless expense management and order automation. Chris had a successful exit from True Wireless in 2013. Before being acquired by True Wireless, Chris founded Celtegrity in 2006. Celtegrity was a wireless expense management platform that was acquired by True Wireless in 2008.
Prior to building these companies, Chris was at Nextel Communications from 1995, when it was a fledgling startup, through 2006 when Nextel was acquired by Sprint for $35 billion dollars…..when a billion dollars was a lot! Chris started and remained in sales throughout his Nextel career. Generally, within Enterprise. Chris’ last role managed a $200M annual budget with partners like Deloitte, General Dynamics, American Tower, and SFDC.
On a side note, Chris joined Nextel believing it was a temporary sales role. Chris had spent the previous two years at Citibank after getting his Batchelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Chris had left Citibank because he had been accepted to law school in Boston, where his wife was doing her residency at Boston Medical Center. Chris had an eight-month hiatus before school and instead of tending bar, was hired by a friend at Nextel. Go figure.
