Brad has consistently been involved with alternative fuels and infrastructure projects for over 25 years and supported the automotive and vocational vehicle industries for more than 35 years. His experience also Includes the introduction of telematics to help support the comfort of users in adopting to the new technology and infrastructure associated with alternative fuels. He really gets “the big picture”.
Brad has worked with the full variety of Advanced Propulsion Technologies From early electric vehicles (EV1 and S10), 2-Mode Hybrids, Hydraulic Hybrids, E85, Biodiesel, Propane, CNG, HCCI and even Hydrogen Fuel Cell. This experience included a multitude of direct OEM experience GM, FCA and partner programs with Ford, BlueBird, Isuzu, Navistar, ROUSH, Shyft Builtmore (Spartan) and ZEVX, as well as many component suppliers. All this included work with dealer setup, immersion, training and support for sales and service.
In the EV space, Brad reaches back getting dealers familiar with servicing EV1/Electric S10, Managing Project Driveway Fuel Cell deployments for the eastern US, US Department of Energy as a Vehicle Technologies Program Project Officer. ROUSH CleanTech, The launch of GM Brightdrop or projects in the Medium Duty vehicle space with EDI (Cummins), Lightening Systems and US DOE’s SuperTruck3.
Brad’s philosophy is, “educational outreach in a wide variety of venues is the key to tracking toward success”. He holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering with a Management and Supervision concentration from Central Michigan University and an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
Brad is excited to apply all these facets to the school bus business and honored to working toward Blue Bird’s 100th year.
