5G networks have been used for some time in hotels, hospitals, manufacturing plants and stadiums and arenas. But 5G networks, and especially private 5G networks, are now being deployed to provide high bandwidth, low latency communications to support a range of innovative applications and services in some more unusual locations. For example, 5G is being used to provide connections to support remote TV and media reporting, connectivity for social media influencers, connecting drones for emergency services, and a wide range of other innovative use cases. This session will highlight some of the more innovative 5G use cases and discuss the technical aspects of 5G that make the applications possible.
